Mandate

The Secretariat of Communications is the voice of the Chancellery to the public and the press. It carries the Crown's words, and the work of every other Secretariat, to the people of Navassa and the wider world, with consistency, accuracy and care.

What the Secretariat handles

  • The Kingdom's official channels: kingdomofnavassa.org and the @kingdomofnavassa accounts on Instagram, Facebook and Threads
  • Press and media enquiries, and accreditation of the press at court events
  • Publication and distribution of the Royal Gazette and other official announcements, once issued by the Secretariat of the Crown.
  • The Kingdom's brand standards: Navassa Blue and Navassa Gold, the official typefaces, and correct usage of titles and names in English, French and Haitian Creole
  • The calendar of observances and announcements across the Chancellery
